Course: Wilderness Therapy
Introduction: One in six people are living with mental health. These can include Depression, Anxiety and Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), with mixed anxiety and depression being the most common in the UK. Wilderness therapy is a form of ecotherapy which involves participants being out in the wild. Wilderness Therapy lets you build up a relationship between yourself and the outdoor environment around you, while challenging yourself.
Here at Climb Snowdonia we truly believe in the benefits of the great outdoors. Hiking in the Great Outdoors is a natural therapeutic approach to helping people living with mental health by improvising your self-awareness and using the outdoors to remove any mental blocks you may have.
