By booking onto a course and sending Climb Snowdonia a deposit or full payment (if course fees are £100 or under), you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. To make a firm booking you must pay the non-refundable deposit or full payment as soon possible after receiving an invoice from us.
Deposits:
If the full amount of the course is under £100, then full payment is required and is non-refundable.
If the course fees are between £101 and £250, then a 50% non-refundable deposit is required.
Course fees over £251 are subject to a 30% non-refundable deposit.
Abroad trips are subject to a £200 non-refundable deposit.

The remaining balance is due 4 weeks in advanced of the start date of the course. If the booking is made within the 4 weeks, then full payment is required to confirm the booking. If the course is more than 4 weeks away then only the relevant deposit is required.
In the event that the remaining balance is not paid, we will treat the booking as cancelled by you (We will remind you via email just before the payment is due). Climb Snowdonia has the right to try and re-sell your place on the course. Climb Snowdonia reserves the right to cancel your booking with no refund of payment.
Medicals
When a booking is being made, any medical conditions need to be declared. If between booking and the start date of your course a medical problem arises, then you must notify Climb Snowdonia immediately. Climb Snowdonia may require you to obtain confirmation from a medical professional that you are fit to participate in the activity.
On meeting with Climb Snowdonia (normally on the morning of the course), you will need to fill out and sign a medical and consent form. You must disclosure of all medical /health matters, even if you feel they are not relevant to your participation in the activity in anyway.
Climb Snowdonia have the right to stop any activity if they feel the client does not have the right experience or equipment for the course. Where possible an easier option will be provided. Climb Snowdonia will not pay any of the course fees back to you in this event.
Cancellations by Clients (You)
All cancellations must be made in writing or by email. The costs of the deposit (or full payment if £100 or under) will not be returned.
If cancellations are made within 4 weeks of the start day of the activity, then the full payment of the course fees are non-refundable.
If cancellations are made before 4 weeks of the start day of the activity and you have already paid the full payment of the course fees, you will be offered to reschedule your activity. The new date must be within 6 months of the original date (subject to Climb Snowdonia’s availability).
Cancellation by Climb Snowdonia
Very infrequently, Climb Snowdonia may have to cancel its courses. Climb Snowdonia make every attempt to ensure all their courses run. Cancellations can be for a number of reasons, including adverse or unstable weather conditions. Clients will be notified as soon as possible in the event of a cancellation.
Where possible, Climb Snowdonia will offer you a different activity. For instance, Climb Snowdonia may cancel a coasteering session due to storm force winds. Clients will be offered an alternative activity such as gorge walking for the same day.
In the unlikely event that Climb Snowdonia has to cancel, you will be offered a full refund or offered an alternative date if an alternative activity is not provided. This must be taken within 6 months of the original date. No compensation will be due.
Climb Snowdonia is not liable for any travel or accommodation related expenses.
Adventurous activities are hazardous activities. Whilst on your activity you must follow instructions given to you by your leader. Their decisions at all times are final. If you do not follow the leader’s instruction and your behaviour is dangerous or irresponsible, then you may be requested to leave the activity, with no cost penalty to Climb Snowdonia.
Insurance
Climb Snowdonia courses do no include any personal accidents, cancellations, third party liability or personal insurance. Climb Snowdonia recommend that you take out your own insurance policy. Climb Snowdonia take no responsibility at all in respect of loss or damage to personal property.
For all trips outside the United Kingdom, travel insurance is a must. A copy must be emailed to Climb Snowdonia beforehand. Your insurance must include search, helicopter rescue and repatriation in the event of a medical emergency. Your Insurance policy must also cover you for the correct altitude. Climb Snowdonia are not responsible if your policy does not cover the trip’s planned altitude ascent. Climb Snowdonia are happy to recommend Insurance providers for you.
